LGBTQ+ Community Building with Evelyn BruMar

Evelyn BruMar overcame many struggles when moving her family from the West Coast to a more conservative part of Virginia. It was a new home in a new state that not only provided her family with opportunities but also challenged them with a new set of barriers. She had to remind her new community that her family belonged there just as much as everyone else’s did.
