Caring For Others As Well As Yourself with Gabriel Tobias

Gabe · April 1, 2020

Organizing and political activism can be mentally and physically draining.  We sat down with someone who has engaged in a lifetime of activism, has done work in non-profits and leads progressive organizations in order to explore how we can overcome the challenges of isolation, the stresses of organizing and the importance of self-care.

Gabe Tobias, co-founder of Movement and the Senior Advisor for Justice Democrats, has formed his career by participating in non-profits and progressive organizations which have sent him across the world. He shares with us how the communities he was interacting with and the connections he was building helped give him a sense of purpose and shares insight on how other activists can overcome some of the hurdles they may go up against.
