Lesson 2 of 4
In Progress

Part 2. Making An Impact With Postcards

Elisabet August 6, 2020

Creating postcards is easy but is it actually effective?

Those creating postcards felt like they were making a difference writing to local representatives and voters, expressing their views, and researching important topics but did their postcards actually translate to votes that impacted elections? We talked with activist Elisabet Michaelsen about this and as well as the sense of community that is built in the postcard campaign workshops she hosted.

In this video lesson you will:

    1. Discover what kind of impact postcards have on local campaigns.
    2. Explore how postcard groups create community and a sense of purpose.
