Can you really unite a broken community simply by coming together and singing?
In order to bridge divides between locals and immigration communities in Hazleton, PA, Sue’s non-profit group “JustSing” coordinated a special event with a group in Hazleton that brought people from all walks of life together for a special event where they sang “Take Me Home, Country Roads” by John Denver. The result of the event was clearly visible on the smiles of those participating and Sue describes the joy, energy and comradery she saw and how that event impacted her.
